Complete solutions under one roof to ensure efficiency and ease of management.
PCT Europe is a strategic partner specialized in providing advanced services for companies operating in the plastics processing industry. Our activities include chemical, mechanical, and thermal cleaning of molds, equipment, tools, and mechanical components, as well as complete maintenance and repair services for hot runner systems and extrusion heads of any brand and design.
Our goal is to restore the proper functionality of equipment quickly, efficiently, and in a cost-effective manner. Every intervention is supported by a rigorous technical approach aimed at optimizing time, materials, products, and energy consumption while minimizing waste and inefficiencies.
We apply highly effective operating methods and products designed to preserve the integrity of treated surfaces and allow the reuse of all parts that still comply with specifications. Our technicians carefully analyze materials, coatings, component geometries, and the type of contaminants in order to determine the most suitable treatment process.
We use dedicated equipment specifically designed to ensure effective, non-abrasive thermal and mechanical cleaning. In addition, we employ innovative chemical agents developed through years of research and continuous testing of the best solutions available on the market.
We strongly believe that continuous staff training is a key competitive advantage, and we constantly monitor industry developments to anticipate innovations in technology, materials, and processes. This proactive approach enables us to respond effectively to the needs of an ever-evolving market.
Non-abrasive chemical and mechanical cleaning
Thorough cleaning of plates, molds, and extrusion dies is essential to ensure precision, consistent quality, and long service life of equipment used in plastics manufacturing. Deposits of degraded resins, silicones, release agents, greases, oils, and other contaminants reduce the quality of molded parts and accelerate the wear of molds, dies, guide pillars, and ejection systems.
Residues on the rear plates can prevent proper contact with the machine platens, causing misalignment that affects clamping force distribution and accelerates mold wear. In addition, impurities and residues can restrict the flow of water and air through cooling channels and pneumatic circuits, while corrosion in non-visible areas may lead to surface pitting and structural deformation.
Relying on professional mold and extrusion die cleaning and maintenance services helps prevent unplanned machine downtime, reduce maintenance costs, and optimize production performance. Contact us for the inspection and cleaning of plates, matrices, dies, and components, ensuring efficiency, quality, and long service life for your plastic production systems.
Thermal cleaning with a pyrolytic oven
Since 2008, we have been treating mechanical parts from all industries, metal components, and equipment with various geometries for the removal of plastic and polymers using a pyrolytic oven. Thanks to our thermal cleaning service, which complies with the highest quality and environmental standards, the parts are successfully reintegrated into the customer’s production process.
Specifically, thermal pyrolysis allows us to completely remove plastic, carbon residue, paint, and various types of inorganic contamination from metal parts without altering their structure or technical characteristics.
We process any type of resin, including elastomers, thermosets, engineered plastics, and fiberglass-filled materials. We customize the thermal cycle based on the type of metal, treatment, coating, finish, and contamination, offering flexibility and extremely short processing times.
For sensitive or complex components, we offer a full or partial disassembly service and dedicated post-thermal cleaning operations, specifically designed by our engineers and process technicians.

Cleaning, revisione, and repair of hot runner systems
At PCT Europe, we handle hot runners of all brands, types, and sizes. We address plastic leaks, chamber imbalances, blocked runners, contamination and impurities within the runners, various electrical malfunctions, temperature anomalies, wear on sealing surfaces and mechanical parts, spare part replacement, heater connection repairs, and nozzle repairs.
Complete maintenance and repair of hot runner systems are part of our core business. Therefore, we offer a full range of services, from simple chamber cleaning to complete reconditioning of complex hot runner components (Tier 1, 2, or 3), including scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
We also stock a wide range of electrical and mechanical spare parts for certain hot runner brands and specific customers. We guarantee fast and accurate service at a highly competitive price, thanks to our technicians’ experience in plastic molding and mold construction. We are committed to meeting the needs of businesses with the same professionalism and quality as OEMs.
Nozzle repair
Our team’s advanced skills and state-of-the-art equipment allow us to offer a comprehensive repair service for nozzles used in the plastics industry. We can perform the following tasks:
- electrical testing of the heaters;
- disassembly;
- thermo-chemical cleaning;
- repairing heaters connections;
- replacing thermocouples (if necessary);
- replacing tips and rings (if necessary).
Nozzle repairs are complex due to the presence of fine and delicate terminals that often become damaged, rendering the nozzle unusable even though the heater is still functional. This is the case with Mold-Masters, equipped with an integrated brazed heater. Our team can recover severely damaged terminals and restore the connections through laser welding and silver alloy brazing. This allows users to quickly resume production and benefit from durable parts.
Through delicate maintenance operations, we restore components to optimal condition to extend their useful life. This is one of the main advantages of repairing hot runner nozzles over replacing them, making them a cost-effective and sustainable solution for companies.
